  2. Parent Permission for Girl Scout Outing one per girl signed by parent and in possession of the leader.
  3. Girl Health History Record in possession of leader and driver (if applicable).
  4. Not necessary but nice, Community Service Project Report and News Release

  • Los Rios Ranch (Oak Glen) The Wildlands Conservancy - 39611 Oak Glen Rd. 797-1005 - weekends 9AM- 4:30 PM - Hike through orchards, oak woodlands, next to stream and pond, wetlands. Handicap and children friendly.-U-pick apples and U-press cider.
  • Forest Falls Hike to the Falls (Forest Falls)
  • Indian Canyons (Palm Springs) Explore any of the 4 canyons, Andreas, Palm, Taquitz or Murray, numerous foot and equestrian trails, ranger led tours, waterfalls.- open year round 8am - 5pm.-nominal fee - 760-323-6018
  • Redlands Heritage Trails ~ Redlands Conservancy Project
  • Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area (south of Hesperia) - Spring and Summer - camping, biking, hiking, swimming (check with park office for availability of a certified lifeguard). Winter- bald eagle watching. - 760-389-2281

  • Catalina Island (out of Long Beach or San Pedro) Reservations for the Catalina Express Boat to Catalina: 1-800-481-3470. This is an expensive trip, but lots of fun and a good way to use cookie money. While you're there go on a Glass bottom boat, shop, go on an island tour, lots to do.

Training required: HGGO (Helping Girls Grow Outdoors) and First Aid/CPR current Certification.

  3. Site information sheet (if using other than San Gorgonio GS Council site) to: Nicole Littlefield
  4. Site Reservation form* if using San Gorgonio GS Council site, to: GSSGC 1791 Plum Ln Redlands, 92374 Attn: Shirley *Call Shirley at the Council first to make sure the Council site you want is available on the date you want.
  5. Special activity Form* to: Deborah Wilson *Please note on the form that camping paperwork was submitted to Olene.
  6. Parent Permission slip signed and in possession of leader on trip.

  • Glen Helen Regional Park (Devore) - 887-7540 - waterpark open from Memorial Day - Hiking trails, fishing lakes.
  • Yucaipa Regional Park (Yucaipa) - 790-3127 - waterpark open from Memorial Dayhiking, fishing, close to Oak Glen.
  • Roar and Snore Campout (San Diego Wild Animal Park) - 619-231-1515 for reservations and information - sleep in the Wild Animal Park - all inclusive (bring only your clothes) - expensive, but worth the money - price includes admission to the Wild Animal Park the day after the campout.
  • Mojave Narrows - is a virtual oasis in the Mojave Desert. Fish, boat, camp, hike nature trails, and enjoy horseback riding on 840 acres along the ancient riverbed of the Mojave River. 760-245-2226
  • Calico - provides full and partial camping hook-ups, camping cabins and bunkhouses located at the base of town. 760-254-2122
